Mississippi Delights

I was intrigued by this display of jelly at a local antique shop (let's hope it is not really that old!). What is mayhaw? Is that some kind of southern specialty? If anyone knows anything about it, please educate me. I don't really like jellies and jams, but I might be willing to give this one a try.

Well, I'd never heard of Mayhaw either so I googled it - here's all you ever wanted to know about Mayhaw - http://www.geocities.com/ccduster/mayhaw.htm
Some people make wine out of it too - sounds good!

I did ask Lynette. . .She said Mayhaw is some kind of berry on a tree. Here's the link she sent: http://www.mayhaw.org/
